  • summer vacation bible school

Each summer, children ages pre-school through sixth grade enjoy learning Bible stories, sharing games and activities, crafts and drama in a fun format. In  2017, fifty kids assisted by youth and young adults from the congregation had a great time.  Check out the slide show below from 2016 and 2017 VBS, & save the date August 6-10th for this year's VBS, This Changes Everything, Hearts, Identity, Purpose, Community, Perspective.  Registration Form here.

  • new life praise team

We are one of five praise teams who share the responsibility for leading the congregation in worship at 11:00 every Sunday. Learn about leadership, worship planning and music while having lots of fun and making good friends.  Contact Martin for details.

  • boy scout troop 438, chief seattle council

Sponsored by Christ the King since the 1950's, Troop 438 under the leadership of Scoutmaster Chris Myers is one of the oldest continuously operating troops in the Chief Seattle Council. Troop 438 is an active, award-winning group for boys and young men.

Brief Bible reading and thought provoking discussion, with short prayers for each day, delivered to your computer or mobile device.  Written by a Lutheran laywoman and teacher.  A wonderful breakfast or dinner-time opportunity to keep your family in the Word with five minutes a day.

  • nursery - attended childcare during worship

Families at Christ the King are encouraged to worship together, including the youngest members, but we also recognize that there are times when parents would prefer to have the option of nursery care. Children through age five are welcome in our nursery which is attended by two caregivers during both Sunday services.

  • children's library

Did you know that Christ the King has a collection of Christian and general books for boys and girls and some for teens and parents, too? You may borrow any of them by signing them out with your name and phone number and the date. Check them out in the Children's Library on the hallway next to the Fellowship Hall.

  • Adventure sunday

Following 9;00 am worship, the congregation gathers for lunch and an afternoon of crafts and activities for everyone to begin preparing for Christmas. Everyone is welcome.

  • lcms youth gathering

Eight youth and two adult leaders headed to New Orleans in July 2016 for five days of coming together with thousands of other youth and adults in a community of God's people to learn more about Jesus, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.
