  • Sunday Worship for Advent & Christmas

    During the Holiday Season, December 3, 10,  17 and 31 the congregation joins in one Sunday morning service at 9:30 amPlease note there is NO Sunday morning service on December 24. The service is followed by coffee and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. There are no Sunday School or adult Sunday Bible classes during this seasonal schedule;  The regular schedule for worship and education resumes on January 7.

  • Adventure

    Following the 9:30 service on December 3, the First Sunday in Advent, join us in the Fellowship Hall for a light lunch and Advent crafts and activities for the entire family.  Take a break from commercial activities and prepare for Jesus' birth with appropriately themed projects.  Photos of the children with St. Nicholas himself.

  • Giving Tree

    The congregation supports three families with gifts and food during the holidays through Bellevue Life Spring.  Take a tag from the tree and return your gift as directed to share the blessings of Christmas with others. Available November 27; gifts must be returned to church by December 17.

  • Ladies' Christmas Tea

    Saturday, December 9, at 1:00 pm. An afternoon of Christmas elegance for women and girls (16 and up).  Bring your friends and get a start on holiday socializing over special teatime treats.  Contact Karen Dennis for reservations.

  • advent midweek services

    Each Wednesday during Advent, December 6, 13,  and 20 at 7:00 pm  Advent worship using Evening Prayer by Marty Haugen.  A time of quiet reflection and spiritual renewal.

  • Advent Soup Suppers

    Share a simple meal in the Fellowship Hall before worship on December 6, 13 and 20 at 6:15.

  • Family Christmas Service - Sunday, 

    December 17

    "Hark the herald Angels sing"

    Sunday, December 17, 9;30 am. The first of our church family's Christmas services, This service for the whole congregation is presented and led by the children and youth of the Sunday School.  Come and join the celebration, and stay for a family Christmas fellowship.

  • Christmas Eve Candlelight service

    Sunday, December 24, at 7:00 pm. The Nativity of Our Lord. The  congregation gathers for one service on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Christ. The service for the whole family opens with the Service of Light and the addition of the Christ Candle to the Advent Wreath. It includes Scripture readings, a message, familiar carols,  choir anthem,  special Children's Message and candlelit singing of Silent Night.

    Monday, December 25, at 9:30 am. The Nativity of Our Lord. Traditional Christmas Eucharist worship, with a reading of the Proclamation of the Birth of Christ, Holy Communion, message, carols and special music

  • Lessons & carols for Christmas

    & the New Year

    Sunday, December 31 at 9:30 am. The First Sunday of Christmas.  A Service of Scripture, Song and Sacrament  Led by our young adults, we sing more familiar carols and hymns and join with our brothers and sisters for Holy Communion on New Year's Eve morning as we welcome  Emmanuel - God With Us!  Fellowship follows with news about what our recent grads have been doing and experiencing.
