  • Sunday Worship for Advent & Christmas

    During the Holiday season, December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 the congregation joins in one Sunday morning service at 9:30 am,followed by a special holiday social event in the Fellowship Hall. Check them out below, listed by dates. There are no Sunday School or adult Sunday Bible classes during this seasonal schedule;  The regular schedule for worship & education resumes January 5, 2019.

  • Giving Tree

    The congregation supports three families in our community through Bellevue LifeSpring. Take a tag from the tree and return your gift as directed to share the blessings of Christmas with others.  Several young children & their parents in our community will be grateful.

    Available December 1, returned by December 15.

  • Deck the Halls

    Tuesday, November 26 at 3 pm .  Come help decorate the Fellowship Hall in preparation for Advent and Christmas festivities.  Contact Miyuki Holste or Robin Mau.

  • Adventure

    Following the 9:30 service on Sunday, December 1, the First Sunday in Advent, join us in the Fellowship Hall for simple Advent crafts and activities for the entire family. Take a break from commercial activities and prepare for Jesus' birth. Enjoy creating a few Advent & Christmas crafts for yourself or our shut-ins.  Taco Bar lunch will be served.  Contact Cathy King or Lauri Stoll,

  • advent midweek services

    Wednesdays, December 4, 11, and 18th, we will join our sister congregations for soup suppers and Advent evening worship using Holden Evening Prayer; Supper at 6 pm, worship at 7 pm.  Dec. 4 at Pilgrim, Bellevue, Pastor Mau preaching; Dec. 11 at All Saints, Bellevue, Pastor Reinke preaching;December 18 at Christ the King, Pastor Dolby preaching.

  • Advent Soup Suppers

    Share a simple meal  before worship on December 4, 11 and 18 at 6:00 pm at the host congregations listed above.  Come as you are from work or your busy schedule to share an evening with new friends and the Lord.

  • Ladies' Christmas Tea

    Saturday, December 7, at 1:00 pm. An afternoon of Christmas elegance for women and girls (15 and up).  Bring your friends and get a start on holiday socializing over special teatime treats.  Contact Karen Dennis for reservations.

  • Caroling sunday

    Sunday, December 8, 11:30 am. Following our Forum for the Future/Prayer Time,  Marty and crew will lead us in singing  favorite Christmas songs while we share our sack lunches. We will caravan to sing at a senior community nearby to bring Christmas joy and small gifts to the residents

  • Sugar cookie decorating

    Sunday, December 15, 10:45 am. After worship,  come down to the fellowship hall for some fun decorating Christmas cookies and a special celebration.  Contact, Karen Dennis.

  • Family Christmas Service - Sunday, 

    December 22

    Sunday, December 22, 9;30 am. The first of our church family's Christmas services, This service for the whole congregation is presented and led by the children and youth of the Sunday School.  Come and join the worship celebration, and stay for fellowship.

  • Cookie smorgasboard

    Sunday, December 22, 10:45 am, Christmas cookies, cider and visiting after the Family Christmas Service.  Sign up on the sheet to bring a plate of your favorites, ready-to-share.

  • Christmas Eve Candlelight service

    Tuesday, December 24th at 7:00 pm The Nativity of Our Lord, Christmas Eve.The congregation gathers for one service on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Christ. The  worship service includes the completion of the Advent Wreath, Scripture readings, a message, familiar carols, choir anthem, special Children's lesson at the manger and candlelit singing of Silent Night.

    Wednesday, December 25, at 9:30 am. The Nativity of Our Lord, Christmas Day. Traditional Christmas Eucharist worship, with a reading of the Proclamation of the Birth of Christ, Holy Communion, message, carols and special music

  • Lessons & carols for Christmas

    Sunday, December 29 at 9:30 am. The First Sunday of Christmas.  A Service of Scripture, Song and Sacrament  Led by our young adults, we sing more familiar carols and hymns and join with our brothers and sisters for Holy Communion as we welcome  Emmanuel - God With Us!

  • FAMILY REUNION FELLOWSHIP

    Sunday, December 29 at 10:45 am. A chance to enjoy coffee or cocoa and donuts while visiting with our young people home for the holidays and hear what they've been up to since last Christmas season.  Contact, Bev Wick
