  • Lenten alms collection - March 6-April 14

    Operation Nightwatch A Seattle ministry whose vision is to reduce the impact of poverty and homelessness, in keeping with Jesus’ teaching to love our neighbors. We will join their Sock it to Homelessness campaign to collect pairs of socks to be distributed to homeless people as our annual Lenten Alms collection.  See the display in the Narthex.  Collection will be dedicated on Palm Sunday, April 14.

  • Ash Wednesday

    March 6  at 7:00 pm   Confession, Imposition of Ashes, and Holy Communion at the beginning of the Lenten Season. No soup supper.

  • Lenten Midweek worship

    Wednesdays during Lent, at 7:00 pm*  Services of evening Lenten Prayer rotating among four sister congregations.  March 13 All Saints Lutheran-Bellevue, Pastor Mau preaching; March 20 Pilgrim Lutheran-Bellevue, Pastor Reinke; March 27 Christ the King Lutheran-Bellevue, Pastor Rehder; April 3 Pilgrim Lutheran-Bellevue, Pastor Mau; April 10 Redeemer Lutheran-Mercer Island, Pastor Baade. *April 10 begins @ 6:30 pm, combining supper and a table worship.


  • Midweek soup suppers

    Simple soup and bread suppers precede Lenten Prayer each Wednesday in Lent in the hosting congregation.  Come for supper at 6:00* and stay for worship.

    March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10.* April 10 begins@ 6:30, combining supper and a table worship service led by Pastor Baade.


  • palm sunday - sunday of the passion

    April 14 at 8:30 am  Traditional rituals open Holy Week, following Christ from his entry into Jerusalem to the cross, including palms, handbells and choir, the reading of the Passion Gospel According to St. Luke.

    11:00 am  Contemporary celebration of Palm/Passion Sunday, also including the readings of the Passion Gospel and palms.

  • maundy thursday - holy thursday

    April 18 at 7:00 pm  First part of the Triduum, or Three Days worship. Holy Thursday service with choral anthem, Individual Absolution and Holy Communion; Stripping of the Altar.

  • good friday v

    April 19 at 7:00 pm   Second part of the Triduum. Traditional Good Friday rites, including the Procession of the Cross, the Reproaches, and the Office of Tenebrae or service of darkness. Choral Anthem.

  • the resurrection of our lord - easter day

    Sunday, April 21 at 9:30 am  Festival Easter Worship with Holy Communion, processional, hymns and anthems, celebrating the highest festival of the Christian church.

  • easter breakfast

    Easter buffet breakfast for the whole family, following worship service.  Free will offering to support the Youth trip to the LCMS National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis in July.

    Easter Egg Hunt for children.
