  • Lenten alms collection

    March 1 through April 9.  Benefitting Sophia Way Women's Shelter with a collection of cash and needed items: disinfectant wipes; paper towels; fabric softener sheets; Kleenex tissues; sandwich baggies and gallon freezer bags. Bring donations to the collection display in the narthex.

  • Ash Wednesday

    March 1 at 7:00 pm   Confession, Imposition of Ashes, and Holy Communion at the beginning of the Lenten Season.

  • Lenten Midweek worship

    Wednesdays during Lent, at 7:00 pm   Lenten Evening Prayer using That You May Have Life  by Susan Briehl and Marty Haugen

    March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5, 

  • Midweek soup suppers

    Simple soup and bread suppers precede Evening Prayer each Wednesday in Lent in the Fellowship Hall.  Come for supper and stay for worship.

  • palm sunday - sunday of the passion

    April 9 at 8:30 am  Traditional rituals open Holy Week, with the Liturgy of the Palms opening the service and the Liturgy of the Passion with congregational reading of the Passion Gospel According to St. Luke.  No Holy Communion in this service.

    11:00 am  Contemporary celebration of Palm/Passion Sunday, no Holy Communion this week.

  • maundy thursday - holy thursday

    April 13 at 7:00 pm Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday, including Individual Absolution and the Stripping of the Altar in preparation for Good Friday.

  • good friday tenebrae

    April 14 at 7:00 pm   Traditional Good Friday rites, including the Procession of the Cross, the Reproaches, the Bidding Prayer, and the Office of Tenebrae or service of darkness, with the Way of the Cross. 

  • the resurrection of our lord - easter day

    Sunday, April 16 at 9:30 am  Festival Easter Worship with Holy Communion, festival hymns and anthems, and a special Children's Lesson.

  • easter breakfast

    Easter buffet breakfast for the whole family, following worship service.  Free will offering to benefit the a ministry of the congregation. 

    Easter Egg Hunt for children.
